How We Pick Day Use Hotels
A day use room is a hotel room booked for a few hours instead of a night. People use them between flights, after checking out, or when they need a private space for the afternoon. This page explains how we rank them, so you can judge the lists yourself.
How we pick day use hotels
Every hotel on our lists sells day use rooms through a public booking site. We pull the same data for each one and score it the same way. No hotel is judged on anything a guest cannot check.
| Signal | Points | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| Google rating | 45 | 3.0 scores nothing, 5.0 scores the full 45 |
| Number of Google reviews | 25 | log scale, tops out at 3,500 reviews |
| Star rating | 12 | as listed on the booking site |
| Listing photos | 10 | tops out at 12 photos |
| Has its own website | 8 | you can reach them directly |
What money cannot buy
No hotel pays for a position. There is no sponsored slot and no advertising on these lists.
A hotel moves up by earning better reviews from real guests. That is the only way up.
Why we publish this
We run an outcall massage service in Bangkok. Our therapists travel to hotels, condos and serviced apartments.
Guests without a private room ask us where to find one, every week. This is that answer, written down once.
