Pattaya Nightlife Guide: Shows, Rooftops, Live Music and Night Markets
This guide lists nine Pattaya nightlife spots built around shows, views, live music and food, sorted by area: Beach Road and Central Pattaya, cabaret shows, Walking Street and South Pattaya, night markets and viewpoints, and Jomtien. For each spot you get the area, what it is and what to expect.
A good first night in Pattaya does not have to be a bar strip. Start with the sunset, then see a show or a live band, then walk a night market. Times and show days change with the season, so check the venue page or the show site for tonight's times. When the night is over, the last part shows an easy way to rest at your hotel, condo or villa.

Beach Road and Central Pattaya
Beach Road and the streets behind it hold the sunset views and the live music. The spots sit close together, so a ride between them is short, and our therapists reach central Pattaya in 20-30 min.
Horizon Rooftop Bar at Hilton Pattaya
Horizon is on floor 34 of the Hilton Pattaya, above the Central Pattaya mall. It looks over the bay and the curve of Beach Road. Go in the late afternoon and stay for the sunset. It suits couples and anyone who wants a polished start to the night. Want more views? Read our Pattaya rooftop bars guide. Check the hotel page before you go.
Hard Rock Cafe Pattaya
Hard Rock Cafe is inside the Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya on Beach Road, so it is easy to find. A live band plays most nights, so check the schedule at the door, and there is a full dinner menu. Go for dinner and stay for the music. It suits groups and families. Check the cafe page for tonight's band times.

Cabaret Shows in Pattaya
Cabaret is a long running Pattaya night out. The shows have big costumes, dance and music. Both shows below sit on Second Road. Book a seat on the show site and arrive early for a good view.
Alcazar Cabaret Show
Alcazar is on Pattaya Second Road in the middle of town. It is a dance and costume show with music, and a good pick for a first show. Check the show site for tonight's times.
Tiffany's Show Pattaya
Tiffany's Show is on Second Road in North Pattaya, near the Dolphin roundabout. It is one of the best known cabaret shows in town and the classic choice. Check the show site for tonight's times.
Walking Street and South Pattaya
South Pattaya is where the bright lights are. Two stops here are about the sights, not the bars.
Walking Street
Walking Street is a famous pedestrian strip in South Pattaya, from the end of Beach Road to Bali Hai Pier. It is closed to cars in the evening and full of lights and crowds. Many visitors walk it once to see it. Keep your bag zipped, watch your drinks and your phone, and take Grab or Bolt back to your hotel.
Bali Hai Pier
Bali Hai Pier is at the end of Walking Street. Ferries to Koh Larn leave from here, and the pier has seafood restaurants over the water. Go at dusk for the sea breeze and the boats. Planning a day trip? Read our Koh Larn guide.
Night Markets and Evening Views
For a slower night, go where the food and the view are.
Thepprasit Night Market
Thepprasit Night Market is on Thepprasit Road, between Pratumnak and Jomtien. It is a weekend market with street food, clothes and small gifts, and a mostly local crowd. Go early in the evening before the lanes fill up. Market days can change, so check before you go.
Pratumnak Viewpoint
Pratumnak Viewpoint, also called Khao Pattaya View Point, is on Pratumnak Hill between Pattaya and Jomtien. It is free and open air. Go at sunset, then stay for the night skyline over the bay. Bring a light layer for the wind.
Staying on the hill? See massage in Pratumnak.
Jomtien Beach Road at Night
Evening Seafood and a Beach Walk in Jomtien
Jomtien is the long beach south of the city. At night its beach road is calmer than Beach Road in Central Pattaya. Open air seafood places sit along the road, with the sea on one side and string lights on the other. Walk the promenade, pick a table and eat by the water. It suits families and anyone who wants a slow evening.
Staying nearby? See massage in Jomtien for how our therapists reach hotels and condos on this stretch of coast.
